We are delighted to be partnering with a outstanding commercial UK Law firm who are looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager to lead their London Real Estate team. This role is a permanent position (offers hybrid working).

The firm itself has grown rapidly in the last 5 years in terms of size and capability and so they needed to invest in Business Services functions.

The Senior BD Manager role is brand new for the firm and is essentially a blank canvas which is really exciting but appreciate this can be daunting. The partners essentially don't know what good looks like when it comes to BD so they need someone who hasthe influence to be able to lead these partners down the right path. The hiring manager needs individuals who are going to work with him to set strategy for the areas but they also need to be able and happy to do some operational work as well as it is a smallteam without the resources of a big global firm.

You will be reporting into the BD Director and collaborating with them and other senior manager to piece together the strategy for the BD function moving forward.

There is some junior support currently (which may grow more) within the role. The individual in the support role is quite self-efficient which will allow for this person the get embedded into their role/practice.

Culture is really important to the firm and it's not a case of just 'getting someone'. The firm is very collaborative and the key is to maintaining this.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individua who is interested in a new challenge to truly build a practice strategy and not just a typical replacement role.
