Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
- Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management
- Utilise Word / Excel / Outlook for administritive tasks
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in an administrative role with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft packages at least at a basic level
- Excellent typing skills and data entry accuracy
- Knowledge of general office procedures and clerical duties
- Strong communication skills with a professional phone manner

Other requirements / tasks

We are a small business and a company in our own right, operating as a franchise of a well-known national housekeeping brand. The role is based in the office with our Director & Operations manager, and there are a few elements that we will need you to help with, in addition to normal office tasks. These include helping us process client washing and kit washing on site for our teams, collecting & dropping off client ironing and occasional errands in the local area. For this reason, drivers with own vehicle are preferred, but you will be paid mileage for this.

As well as laundry, some client ironing may be required in the office, as support to the housekeeping team, but within your hours.

An excellent phone manner is required, as you will need to answer calls from existing and prospective clients, book in quote appointments and check in regularly with existing clients.

Pay: £11.44-£11.85 per hour
