**Technical Sales Engineer - £30,000- £38,000 DOE + Benefits - North of England**

**The Role**

Are you a self-starter with strong communication skills looking for a new challenge? Do you possess excellent IT skills coupled with Microsoft office knowledge If so, we are looking for you

Due to continued business growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Engineer to take responsibility for all client enquiries, costings, and quotations within this leading bespoke manufacturer in the Packaging and Materials Handlingsectors.

You will also be expected to follow up on recent deliveries and to build relationships with both new and existing customers. You will be required to travel to customer sites in the North of England to discuss designs and solutions to improve the materialshandling process.

**Key Responsibilities**

The key responsibilities of a Technical Sales Engineer include, but not limited to:

- Generating and responding to all client enquiries,
- Converting all enquiries to completed sales proposal level.
- Liaising with customers, internal design and suppliers on a technical level,
- Generate sales proposals including drawings.
- Carry out costings.
- Prepare Quotations and present to clients.

With manufacturing and office facilities in London and a manufacturing site in mainland Europe, the company has seen significant growth in the last fiveyears, necessitating further sales team expansion.

**The Benefits**

**The Person**

The key skills and qualities of a Technical Sales Engineer are:

- Proven track record in materials handling sales preferably in the packaging/materials handling sector.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills to ensure the management and development of new and established customer base is executed professionally.
- Excellent IT skills including the full MS-Office suite is required with CAD or Sketch up ability an advantage
