Muddy Wellies Gardens is an established Design, Landscaping and Garden maintenance business based near Falmouth in Cornwall. We now have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Hard Landscaping professional to join our growing team.

**Key Skills**:

- Considerable experience in a wide range of hard landscaping.
- Experience with soft landscaping i.e. preparing ground for turf laying and planting etc.
- Experience in more traditional crafts like dry stone walls would be desirable.
- A professional and approachable nature with leadership qualities.
- A strong awareness of Health & Safety guidelines.
- Ideally experience using mini excavators and dumpers.
- Strong customer-service skills; the ability to forge trusting relationships with customers
- Physically fit to undertake the manual elements for landscaping.
- Able to work to deadlines and to keep up team morale when under pressure
- Full UK driving license with the ability to drive company vans.
- Working effectively within a small team, upholding excellent communication and using initiative
- Able to work from plans and drawings
- Planning and setting-out of site.
- Organising and carrying out individual landscaping projects efficiently, to brief and on-time.
- laying patios in both natural stone and concrete slabs, fencing, carpentry, block work, brick work, and other jobs as required
- planting and laying turf.
- Ideally using excavators and diggers.
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service, good communication and delivering the desired end result,
- Effective supervision and management of a small team; motivate, lead, teach and set by example.
- Ensuring a high level of Health & Safety on-site, making sure that projects are carried out in a safe manner and that final construction is safe for customer use
- Ensuring the finish of a project is up to scratch, you should have a good eye for detail to help ensure that customer expectations are met.
- Excellent communication with colleagues and customer

**Further Information**:
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with a skill and passion for landscaping to join a respected and growing business in South West Cornwall. You will be working within a small supportive team and will have the opportunity to build and create gardens in some beautiful locations. The job roll is hugely varied as each job and garden is unique.

Normal hours are Monday
- Friday 8- 4.30 with the opportunity for overtime. Part time hours may also be agreed.

Rate of pay according to experience, training and responsibility.

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
