**Taymouth Castle Golf and Sport Club** is Discovery Land’s second European private members-only golf sport community. This private lifestyle-driven community will offer 125 residences, a world-class golf course and practice facility, wellness and recreation facilities, a range of outdoor pursuits as well as a refurbished 19th century castle to offer a clubhouse with a range of food beverage outlets and indoor activities when fully established. The Club also offers additional facilities at Glenlyon, a nearby farm and mountain estate. The first phase of the castle is due to open late spring/summer which will be an exciting time. The castle will have a Club Team, primarily based in/around the Castle who will play an important role in delivering the DLC culture to create memorable visits and experiences for our members and visiting guests. Working closely and proactively communicating with team members across the wide range of facilities, this role offers a unique front of house opportunity for those who thrive on people interaction and gain genuine enjoyment (get a buzz?) from making others happy.

Each day is varied, with the opportunity to develop your experience within a wide range of facilities while playing a leading role in ensuring we create memorable experiences.

**Discover Your New Path**

Part of a close-knit team you will collaborate with colleagues throughout the club to create memorable moments for our members and visiting guests at their ‘home from home’ making sure each visit is unique. Club Team Hosts provide hospitality to those visiting and using the castle facilities. Whether they are visiting for a day and have lunch or drinks or staying overnight for a few days with us in one of the suites, having morning coffee and breakfast, afternoon snacks and evening dinner and drinks. Our Club Team will look after them.

As a Club Team Host, you don’t just work in one area of the castle, you need to imagine the castle is your home and you are ‘welcoming friends and family into your home’.

Working together with the other Club Team Hosts you will get everything ready for their arrival, cleaning and preparing the apartment suites and refreshing and cleaning them throughout their stay. Ensuring guest areas are clean and looking their best, front entrance swept and welcoming, fires set ready for lighting, newspapers and magazines available and flowers are fresh.

Welcoming the members and guests on arrival, taking their bags and assisting them get settled into their accommodation and helping them get acquainted with the facilities. Providing tours of the castle, offering drinks and snacks, lunch or afternoon tea or an afternoon cocktail or whisky or serving their dinner in the evening, a night cap and wishing them a good night’s rest.

Making sure all the linen, cutlery, crockery and glasses are clean, polished and ready, drinks and ice are stocked, and you have a good knowledge of the food on offer that day. Meeting them in the morning with a bright smile and arranging their breakfast and assisting with any arrangements/activities they have planned for the day.

Don’t worry if your own house or flat is not as large as ours, our Managers will provide full training to enable you to be successful ‘opening up our home’.

Out in the magnificent Scottish countryside you could be transporting golf clubs around our world-class golf course, taking on new skills as a golf cadet or moving sports equipment to some incredible facilities within spectacular locations. You could even be taking to the helm and assisting with boat tours on the ancient Loch Tay.
