Your New Role As Assistant Accountant:
As Assistant Accountant you shall have an opportunity to grow and develop your skills, with daily interaction with customers and colleagues across the business. With the responsibility to produce a variety of tasks across finance this role shall provide thefinancial information, analysis & meaningful business information that will add value to the decision making process in a commercial business. As Assistant Accountant you shall prepare and develop the strength of month end management accounting and work closelywith others in the department to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Main role duties:

- Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts, and annual audit requirements.
- Support the preparation of VAT reporting.
- Production of analysis P&L monitoring, pricing analysis and performance monitoring to aid the planning and forecasting process.
- Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the accounting system.
- Reconciliation of control accounts.
- Working capital management.
- Monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
- KPI management to review performance against targets
- Develop and improve processes across the finance department whilst improving efficiencies
Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:
To be considered for this role you shall be AAT Qualified and be either part qualified, or seeking to take on a formal qualification within CIMA/ACCA. With experience in a similar role you shall have an understanding across all elements of ledger management,month end duties at this level and statutory compliance, cash flow and ideally working capital management. With strong planning and organisational skills you shall also have experience operating in a fast paced environment, working to tight deadlines. Withgood analytical skills you shall also be a good communicator and have the ability to communicate financial data with non financial heads.
