The Faculty of Public Health and Policy is seeking an experienced and proactive **Administrator **to provide executive support to the Dean of Faculty and to assist with the management of our research activities.

The role holder will manage a busy diary, travel, collate papers, minute fortnightly Faculty Management Group meetings, and collate submissions for monthly Research Proposal Review Workshops. In addition, they will contribute to managing a shared inbox, involving supporting requests and enquiries from Faculty staff and research degree students. The role is essential to the smooth running of the central Faculty Office, and the successful applicant will join our small and friendly team.

The role-holder will work closely with the Dean of Faculty, Associate Dean for Research, the Faculty Office team, and will liaise with Heads of Departments and academics in the Faculty, as well as staff in central services. They will report to Faculty Executive Officer.

The role is ideal for a professional team player with secretarial/ administrative experience, the ability to prioritise a varied workload and effective communication skills. Experience of minuting meetings and knowledge of academic research environment would be an advantage, but experienced applicants from other sectors are welcome.

The post is available on a full-time basis at 1.0 FTE, or part-time at 0.8 FTE and fixed-term until 31 December 2023. The post is offered on flexible basis, with expectation that the role holder will work a minimum 2 days a week in the office. The post is funded centrally and is available immediately.

LSHTM operates a hybrid working model allowing a mix of on-site and at home working for this role. Staff are expected to work onsite eight days per month. Onsite working days are flexible and can be agreed with Line Managers.
