**Associate Professor or Reader of Sustainability**

We have an ambitious innovation strategy part of which will be the launch the new Centre for Sustainable Innovation in Autumn 2023.
With a focus on cross-cutting themes of sustainability, digital transformation and change management the Centre will be the hub for innovation ecosystems, providing collaborative space to develop partnerships with industry and HEI partners to benefit the wider regional eco-system.

**What will the role entail?**
We are committed to embedding an enterprise culture across the School by promoting the institutional career pathway for enterprise active scholars.

Our Associate Professor or Reader of Sustainability, will undertake a sustained level of international quality activities related to enterprise and impact.

You’ll manage significant enterprise projects and work with colleagues across the school and wider institution to enhance the work of the Centre in the field of sustainability.

You’ll work on relevant bids, tenders and grants to develop and deliver high-quality enterprise provision in sustainability across a range of knowledge exchange, CPD and enterprise programmes, and contribute to planning, design and development of programmes for delivery to businesses and industry.

We hope you’ll bring industry expertise, either hold a PhD or be working towards one (though this is not essential) and use your interpersonal skills and effective horizon scanning for new opportunities to enhance our offering.
You’ll have experience in leadership in enterprise and external engagement, and a successful track record of collaborating with partners from a range of sectors, leading to commercial income from a variety of sources.
