Relief Supervisor

Job Introduction
As a Relief Cook Supervisor in one of our schools you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of a healthy, nutritious and fun menu for the students and staff. You will focus on delivering the highest quality of food and service along with having the flair, originality and the ability to make this one of the best catering offers in the area.

Main Responsibilities
- Support with preparation of the menu, using fresh ingredients and the recipes provided
- Assist the catering manager with food ordering and stock taking
- Ensure food hygiene, Allergen and Health and Safety compliance
- Support the hiring manager with supervision of the team
- Building relationships with client and customers
- Provide friendly and polite customer service

**We need someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools along with the following skills and experience**:

- Ideally you will have some knowledge of education catering having used fresh ingredients and possess excellent craft skills
- You have Food Hygiene level 2 & 3 (further training will be available)
- You have excellent knowledge of health and safety practices
- Computer literate with experience of using different systems
- You’re self-motivated, able to use your own initiative, have a desire to learn and achieve whilst motivating others
- Experience within a similar environment

Package Description
Firstly, fantastic hours. You’ll work Monday to Friday during school term time meaning more time with friends and family and no working at Christmas You’ll also benefit from:

- 27.5 hours per week - with no late nights
- Working 38 weeks per year based around term time - what could you do with all that time off?
- £12.00 per hour
- Based in Norwich, NR2
- Car allowance
