Teaching Assistants Needed

Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work at a school in Effingham. There are full time and part time roles available to suit your personal life. We are looking for applicants available immediately or after February half term.

The school is a specialist provision for children with ASC. You will be working on a 1-1 or small group basis, helping pupils to participate in lessons and encouraging their academic and personal development. This may involve helping pupils to take partin activities, explaining tasks to them, supporting their wellbeing, and helping to set up activities.

Experience working in a SEN/education setting is desirable but not advantageous. If you have experience in any of the following we want to hear from you
- Sports coaching
- Youth volunteering eg NCS
- Care/support work
- Childcare
- Personal experience with SEN
- Study of a relevant degree eg Education, Psychology, Health and Social Care etc

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
