Cell Manufacturing Engineer

A key client of ours in the Electric Vehicle market is looking for a Cell Manufacturing Engineer. Powered by innovation they provide technological advanced Electric Vehicles globally.
Location: Rosenheim

**Salary**: €80,000-€12000 plus benefits (Depending on experience)
The Role:
Ensure that engineered product designs are manufacturable and will meet the cost, quality, and timing targets established.
Strong ability to take new battery platforms from initial concept through prototype development, validation builds, and into series production (from A-Sample to D-Sample/SOP).
Experience - Strong ability to prepare and provide a Statement of Work (SOW), technical requirements document (TRD), progress reports, and the relevant documentation associated with cell development from prototype to series production.
Collaborate closely as the interface with battery cell manufacturers and material suppliers. Evaluate each phase of the cell development from prototype to mass production in terms of cell design, performance, safety, quality, and certification, ensuring thatthe product will meet the program's overall requirements.
Evaluation of Li-ion and post-Li-ion cell technologies targeted for mass production, including screening next-generation chemistries for manufacturing challenges.
Good understanding of Li-ion battery cell manufacturing platforms and processes stages (from the raw material to cell assembly/cell finishing).
Able to provide engineering support to cell assembly as well as to production teams to resolve manufacturing process issues.
Experience - Collaborate closely with supplier teams in their communication
Occasional International travel required
