**Summary**

NHBS is a world leader in supplying Natural History, Ecology, and Conservation books and ecological survey equipment to institutions, retailers, companies, libraries, academics, and private customers worldwide.

We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Supervisor to assist the logistics manager in managing the smooth running of warehouse operations. This hands-on position includes Goods In, Picking/Packing, and Dispatch.

**Key responsibilities:

- To assist in coordinating, managing and monitoring the receipt, dispatch and transferring of goods
- To assist in organising the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
- To assist in motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
- To assist in ensuring stock control systems are up to date
- To maintain standards of health and safety
- To oversee the planned maintenance of warehouse equipment
- To deputise in the absence of the Logistics Manager

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of numeracy and a good understanding of stock management
- High level of IT
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent team building and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and organising skills to effectively manage the flow of stock

Pay: £25,644.00-£26,644.00 per year
