An exciting opportunity has arisen for two full-time and one part-time experienced and committed Administrators to work in the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) for the Safeguarding Children's Team.

Applicants should be reliable, enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a very busy environment. This post would suit somebody who is proficient in administrative skills having worked in a busy team, working to deadlines and the ability to continually prioritising workloads.

This post is crucial to the effectiveness of the MASH Health Service.

The post holder will be responsible for collating and providing information related to the clinicians in the team to support MASH enquiries received through the local authority integrated front doors. The post holder will support the safeguarding health leads by providing them with information upon which the safeguarding leads can then form their analysis of the risk to a child.

The role will support a range of complex and sensitive administrative functions to ensure the effective and timely access to information for staff in the MASH and for the storage and sharing of information between MASH and other professionals.

Provide an effective administration support service to the health practitioners in the MASH.

Monitor incoming work on behalf of the health practitioners within MASH, ensuring work is received with all of the appropriate information and is effectively prioritised for the practitioners.

Independently manage requests for information queries which do not require clinical input.

Gather information for MASH enquiries and at times for strategy discussions within own level of competency and provide this to the MASH Band 6 nurses to complete their analysis and submit to the local authority MASH. This will be undertaken within the timescales directed by the processes within each MASH provision.

Receive and manage the timely administration of referrals including:
Ensuring all referral information is available to clinician;
Finding and registering service users on SystmOne (S1);
Updating Groups and Relationships on S1;
Uploading documents to S1 following clinical review;
Supporting follow up calls and actions.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
Manage tasks and maintain good housekeeping on the IT Safeguarding system.

Develop and implement a system to ensure that communications from named individuals, where a response is required, is monitored and responses followed up where necessary - including performance management information and planning documents.

Co-ordinate the administration of information following various multi-agency meetings and liaise with relevant health professionals.

Uploading the meeting notes to S1;
Tasking HCP clinicians to share information;
Informing a GP practice or other relevant professionals involved with the child.

Provide a high quality and responsive secretarial service and administrative support as a Senior Administrator working within Cambridgeshire Children and Young People’s Health Services.

Management of MASH mailbox and other correspondence, re-routing as appropriate, responding and prioritising urgent requests as necessary, ensuring that urgent and at times highly sensitive items are dealt with accordingly.

Organise papers and reports as requested, conducting additional research where necessary.

Contribute to the continued development and implementation of policies and procedures relating to locality and administration services.

Provide a totally confidential support role dealing with personal and sensitive correspondence, which at times may be distressing (staff/children).

Communication

Maintain positive relationships and communicate effectively with health practitioners and other agencies and staff as appropriate to facilitate and support the work of the MASH nurses.

The post holder will be required to handle highly sensitive, variable information in a confidential manner.

Liaise with external organisations, maintaining positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.

Act as a point of contact for the members of the Leadership Team that the post holder supports, using analytical and judgement skills to resolve queries.
