Despatch & Stock Controller

** The Role & Main Duties:
- Process customer paperwork to raise courier labels, via DPD / DHL / Royal Mail.
- Liaise with the above couriers in the first instance regarding any issues.
- Degree of manual handling required to move customer parcels to weight scales and dispatch areas.
- Book goods into stock upon arrival, and mark as correct or highlight shortfalls or issues.
- Maintain stock system with regular random stock checks, and an annual full stock take.
- Be converse and familiar with stock systems and assist in monitoring usage levels.
- Transporting goods around site as and when required using trolleys / pallet trucks.
- Ensure warehouse and storage areas are well maintained, and easily identifiable and accessible stock.
- Any other reasonable request relating to the dispatch area or general factory work when required.

- Excellent attention to detail
- Computer Literate
- Well-organised
- Able to work in a busy despatch environment.
- Fork Lift Truck experience would be advantageous.



**Position: Despatch & Stock Controller.**

**Location:** Bromyard, Herefordshire

**Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.

Full time hours: 39.5 hour week. Factory hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.30pm Friday, overtime paid at a premium rate, with morning and afternoon drinks breaks and a half hour for lunch. Annual holiday is 30 days including bank holidays (bank holidays normally account for 8 days). An annual factory shutdown at Christmas accounts for 3-4 days
