**Job Title**: Housekeeping Team Leader

**Reports to**: Housekeeping Manager

**Hours**: Shift patterns cover Monday-Sunday, shift times vary daily between 6:30am-9:00pm

The Housekeeping team are at the centre of everything that we do from the guest’s arrival to departure. The Housekeeping Team Leader will be responsible for the day to day performance of the housekeeping team members and ensuring that our high standards are always met.

**Responsibilities**
- Motivate and lead the on-shift team to clean spaces to a high level
- Generate system reports and allocate the team accordingly to specific tasks i.e. bedroom cleaning, meeting room cleaning etc.
- Mentor and train the team to ensure a high level of cleanliness and expectations
- Ensure cleaning supplies are ordered, stores are stocked, and linen is stored appropriately
- Report maintenance issues to the maintenance team
- Excellent organisational skills in line with effective time management
- Have a hands-on approach and support the team with cleaning
- Attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and prioritise workload
- Experience of working nights
- Strong sense of customer service
- Ability to use initiative to problem solve
- Highly motivated and goal oriented
- Has strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
- Goes above and beyond to deliver a high-quality experience
- Previous experience housekeeping and people-management experience is desirable
