The role is based at the Basingstoke office with flexible hybrid remote working available, although it is necessary to work from the office 2 to 3 days per week, alongside existing members of the team.

- Likes to take ownership of problems and see them through to a proper conclusion.

- Exposure to hosted / on-premises telephony systems would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
- Use of any scripting language or automation is desirable.
- Exposure to the full software development lifecycle.

**KEY TASKS**
- Reviewing and analysing specification documents and business requirements.
- Defining acceptance criteria.
- Creating detailed test plans.
- Executing test plans, reporting on results and effective communication of issues identified.
- Reproducing and documenting defects.
- Maintaining appropriate test environments.
- Working within an Agile methodology.
- Use of GIT source control systems
- Use of Jira & Confluence

**KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**

The success of the role will be measured by several factors:

- Customer satisfaction / End-user experience.
- Defect management.
- Execution and accuracy of test plan creation and results.
- Test documentation coverage.
- Process suggestions and improvements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
