Complete Classroom Services are working with a **Secondary SEN School** who are looking for a resilient and patient **SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)** to work 1:1 with KS3 and KS4 pupils who have **social, emotional and mental (SEMH)** needs with associated **behavioural** challenges. The opportunity to work **alongside the therapy team** would be greatly beneficial for those with a background and/or keen interest in **psychology, mental health and therapeutic interventions**. Graduates are welcomed to apply

Overview:

- **Full time, long-term** role to **start ASAP.**:

- Great transport links
- Supportive SLT and ongoing CPD.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing **1:1 emotional support **and equipping them with **coping strategies** to help **regulate their behaviour**.
- Working alongside therapy team to reinforce strategies developed between sessions and be tasked with delivering **therapeutic interventions**.
- Supporting them in class and ensure positive social interactions

The successful **SEN Teaching Assistant **will have:

- Ideally at least 3 month’s experience supporting special educational needs, especially **social, emotional and mental (SEMH)** needs with associated **behavioural** challenges.
- Confidence to deliver 1:1 support and interventions.
- Resilience and patience to de-escalate emotional outbursts.

**Salary**: £82.00-£100.00 per day
