**Media Specialist **(Videographer) **| **Circa **£36,000** negotiable + excellent benefits **| **Permanent** | **Hybrid | Berkshire

Are you an experienced **videographer** who can fulfil this Media Specialist role at Thatcham Research? Do you have a gift for turning complex, technical information into interesting and **engaging** material? Once settled in your new role within the Design & Publishing team, you’ll be responsible for producing high quality visuals and sound to support the work of our commercial and engineering research teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to inform, educate and influence a wide audience via your creativity, while supporting us to drive safety improvements across the European automotive industry.

**Your mission**
- Deliver high quality media output, both capturing and editing, to support engineering data for highly technical automotive test scenarios
- Filming and editing to broadcast quality
- Photography and post production alignment to company brand standards
- Provide fault finding and preventative maintenance to media equipment as and when required
- Support the wider business areas with ad-hoc media requests
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and changeable outdoor environment

**Skills & experience that will set you up for success in this role**:

- Experience of media production and specification, including identifying customer requirements and developing high quality solutions
- Excellent skills in video editing, compositing and photographic manipulation using software including Adobe CC with a focus on Premier, After Effects and Photoshop
- Experience of technical video delivery with an emphasis on scientific and engineering research with the ability to create repeatable sequences for comparative analysis
- Photography skills to a high-quality standard.
- Knowledge of broadcast camera systems including sound interfacing, Drone flight, use of GoPro cameras, use of camera supports including fluid head tripods

**When we work**

Our standard working hours are** 8:30 - 16:30** Monday - Thursday, **8:30 - 15:45** Fridays. _(Talk to us about flexible working if this doesn’t quite suit you)_

**How we work**

Our blended working approach means you’ll spend time working from our office in Thatcham, Berkshire and from home should you wish to. Occasional travel to our track testing facility in Gamston Nottinghamshire, may also be required to support on-site activity.
