Job Description: As a Barista at our coffee shop, you will be at the heart of our operations, crafting delicious coffee beverages with precision and artistry. Your friendly demeanour and passion for coffee will create an inviting atmosphere for our customers, making them feel right at home. You'll engage with our patrons, providing personalised recommendations and ensuring they have a great experience.

4-5 days a week Tuesday - Saturday

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks and pour over adhering to our recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing tools, ensuring they are always in optimal condition.
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking their orders, answering questions, and offering coffee recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
- Assist in the preparation of sandwiches and light lunches.
- Uphold a high level of product knowledge, staying updated on our coffee offerings and seasonal specials.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and coffee tastings to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and fun work environment, working with team members to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and espresso preparation techniques is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers.
- A positive attitude and a genuine love for coffee and the coffee shop culture.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and organisation in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
