**Why work for us?**

Basic rate of pay is inline with minimum wage. On top of this, we include a 10% service charge on all bills which is shared directly with all the staff. During a busy evening in the summer you could earn up to £16 per hour including tips

Tips are also shared out after each shift with the team that have worked, and paid wekly, so you will always receive your fair share

Shifts may include daytime and evenings, and weekend working is essential, as well as bank holidays.
Daytime shifts are typically 10.30am - 4.30pm
Evening Shifts are typically 6pm until late
- Finishing times may vary per shift during busy periods._

**Front of House Staff**

You will be undertaking a variety of tasks as Front of House staff, including (but not limited to);
- Welcoming and seating customers
- Taking food and drinks orders
- Advising customers on the menu, house specials, and making recommendations
- Making and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Using the till to put through orders, printing bills and taking payments
- Taking bookings by phone and in person
- Serving food from the kitchen and clearing tables
- Cleaning the restaurant ready for opening each shift
- Clean down bar areas at the end of each shift.
- Other tasks as required

You need to be calm under pressure as it can be a highly stressful environment, as well as having strong communication skills and a very friendly personality. You will need to work well in a team and be able to work on your own initiative, be reliable and have great organisational skills, and the abilty to multi-task effectively.

Most importantly we will need you to ensure that our customers have the bext experience possible and leave with a smile on their face

Barista trained is preferable but training will be given if you need a refresher.

Allergy Awareness and Health & Safety qualifications are preferred, but training will be provided if you do not have current qualifications.

We are mostly a seasonal business, and we are looking for team members until end of September, although part time hours may be available all year round. We try to be flexible on shifts to suit staff with other jobs, childcare requirements, etc but it is important that you are committed to your shifts once they are set.
