Bartender

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team at The Hele Bay, you will be responsible for creating and serving a wide variety of beverages to our guests. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your bartending skills and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Role available:
We are open from 12pm to 10pm daily and have a variety of shifts available for both full and part time team. So if you're looking for evening and/or weekend work, please apply.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Assist in restocking inventory and ordering supplies as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
- Familiarity with basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
