Housekeeper/nanny

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper/Nanny to join a lovely family based in Highbury. This role offers an incredible opportunity to become an integral part of a warm and welcoming household.

Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a clean, organised, and comfortable living environment for the family. You will be in charge of general housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and tidying rooms, doing laundry, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the home, cooking dinner for the children and occasional babysitting.

In addition to housekeeping tasks, you will also provide attentive care for the family's children (G2 & G7 years old). The eldest daughter goes to school full time, and the two-year old attends nursery twice a week. The role will involve supervising their activities, assisting with homework, preparing meals, and engaging in age-appropriate play and activities. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about maintaining a well-kept home and possesses a genuine affection for children.

**Essential criteria**:

- Prior experience as a Housekeeper or Nanny is preferred, with a track record of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and providing excellent childcare.
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail to efficiently manage household tasks and schedules.
- A natural affinity for children, along with the ability to engage them in recreational activities
- Demonstrated reliability and trustworthiness, as you will be responsible for the safety and well-being of the children.
- Willingness to adapt to the family's needs and work in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with both children and the parents
- Respect for the family's privacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Role: Live-out Housekeeper/Nanny**

**Working Days: Monday to Friday**

**Working Hours: 9 am - 6 pm**

**Location: Highbury, London**

**Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 gross per annum**

**Start Date: ASAP**
