Electricity North West has an exciting opportunity for a Policy Writer to join our inclusive and collaborative team. This full-time Policy Writer role is based in Stockport and offers a salary of up to £32,375 per annum and excellent benefits.

**Our role**

As a Policy Writer, you will support the development, update and delivery of ENWL’s engineering policies and procedures associated with its equipment at all voltage levels. You will also have responsibility for the development and management of company policies and standards relating to the design, operation and maintenance of all assets.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

- Updating, verifying, merging and general revision of technical policies and standards relating to the design, construction, performance, including failures and defects, operation and maintenance and disposal of the assets of the electricity asset base
- Updating the templates utilised on the policies
- Updating all drawings within existing Policies and Standards within the CAD systems.
- The ability to use CAD to create drawings (desirable)
- Practical knowledge and understanding of ENWL’s existing policies and practices (desirable)
- IT skills, including Word, Excel (essential)
- Presentational skills and public speaking skills.
