The Publishing Coordinator role sits within the publications team, which is part of a wider Communications team. The publications team produce a range of outputs designed to appeal to a wide audience which includes forestry and land professionals, policy teams, researchers and scientists and the general public. The publications we produce cover research and guidance on sustainable forest management which supports the UK Forestry Standard. We also produce a range of corporate and promotional outputs, including flyers, leaflets, and infographics.

**Job description**

The Publishing Coordinator role can be based either at Alice Holt or Northern Research Station. The position is full time with the opportunity to work flexibly.

In this role, you will work closely with the publishing manager to ensure that our publications are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. You will ensure crucial pre
- and post-publications tasks are completed, which will mean our publications are registered and indexed in the right place, distributed to the right people, and made available on our website. You will also be involved in projects that help support and promote our research output, such as providing data analysis relating to the impact and usage of our outputs, managing a photo library, and providing support to the running of our Forest Science Seminars. There will be opportunity to develop your skills in a range of areas, including publishing, communications, and data analysis.
