**What will the apprentice be doing?**
Day to day duties will include:
- Using traditional lathes and milling machines
- Using 5 axis CNC machines, machine tools and wire eroders
- Liaison with internal quality / engineering / production / service / sales functions to assist the design engineers with achieving final solution and specification
- Supporting the engineers in liaison with Customers and Suppliers
- General housekeeping and maintenance of all design materials and equipment
- Working at all times to the procedures as detailed in the company's quality management system
- Working within the Company's Quality Management System Procedures at all times
- Always working within the Company's Health and Safety Procedures and Policies
**What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?**
- This is a Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship - Toolmaker pathway, delivered over a period of 4 years. You will be required to attend the training centre, in Telford, TF3 3AJ 2.5days per week for the first 2 years of training
**What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?**
- Full time role after successful completion of this apprenticeship, with potential to progress to supervisor / foreman role
