Catering Assistant

We provide catering services to TV and film crew on location and will be working on our mobile catering facility located at Hartland Abbey from May 29th to June 13th 2024.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced catering assistant/KP to join our professional catering team on a self-employed basis for a new television production. Duties include setting up service area, assisting Chefs with preparation and serving of hot and cold food, cleaning, washing up and general catering assistant/portering duties as instructed by the Head Chef. Food hygiene knowledge is essential and a certificate in food hygiene is advantageous.

Work days Monday - Friday - minimum 6 hrs per day, start and finish times would depend on the shooting schedule which you will know in advance.

You will need to be reliable, friendly and flexible with a can do attitude and experience of working in a kitchen. The environment is exciting but also requires you to be resilient and flexible to changing plans. You will need to have a UTR self-employed HMRC reference number to work with us.

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
