Key Responsibilities:

- To carry out condition surveys for the acquisition of thirty-one (31) properties to support the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) Local Authority Housing Fund (LAHF), including the production of a full survey reports.
- Written and photographic evidence of the condition of all internal and external components.
- The identification of any catch-up repairs or health & safety liabilities that would require immediate action.
- A 45-year investment plan (cost table).
- Also, to undertake domestic stock condition surveys to inform and support the production of capitalised works programmes and investment plans, including the collection, identification and measuring of building attributes, assessing remaining life and checking the accuracy of existing stock condition surveys.
- hree of the four districts in Somerset were asked to participate in the scheme by DLUHC. The new Somerset Council will pool the Local Authority Housing Fund (LAHF) to deliver a single programme and seek to deliver the thirty-one homes in the most appropriate locations throughout the new Somerset Council area.
