A great new opportunity has come to market working for one of the UK’s leading insurance brokerages based out of their offices in South Manchester.

**THE ROLE**:
Joining as a Trainee Account Executive, you will work closely with current Account Executives and Directors in delivering an outstanding service to clients. You will be responsible for dealing with a book of new clients and a portfolio of renewals, achievingexcellent retention rates and profitable growth.

Key responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:

- Supporting Account Executives with managing relationships and in growing the book of business.
- Learning how to negotiate with insurers to ensure the best terms are secured for clients which cover their insurance requirements.
- Showing excellent organisational ability, managing your workload and providing a top class service to clients.
- Ensuring all client information is kept up to date and recorded accurately.
- Developing a pipeline of sales and new business opportunities to ensure targets are met.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Good knowledge of general insurance products and services.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Will be extremely organised, able to manage workload effectively and accurately with attention to detail.
- Able to work well as part of a team but also on own initiative where required.
