**The Opportunity**

We are currently looking for one part time Tutor/Assessor working within our highly motivated and busy Apprenticeship team based in Birmingham.

They should have excellent organisational, administration and communication skills, be computer literate with relevant assessor/teaching qualifications or working towards and must be willing to travel in order to deliver training and assessment to apprentices out in the field

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Delivering all aspects of the apprenticeship including functional skills, theory and practical training in-line with the awarding organisation and T&G guidelines
- Monitoring progress, carrying out reviews and developing individual learning plans with apprentices.
- Auditing the health and safety in salons where apprentices are present
- Taking part in quality systems, including auditing, and updating
- Comply with all safeguarding policies and procedures

**We’d love to meet someone with**:

- The relevant assessor and teaching qualifications
- With a minimum one year’s experience of training/assessing apprentices.
- The competence to work without supervision
- The experience and knowledge to deliver functional skills to apprentices
- The ability to support apprentices in the achievement of their qualification
