Meta is looking for a dynamic, flexible, team player to serve as Lead Counsel, Labor & Employment, EMEA, on the Employment Law & Investigations team. This position will be based in Dublin or London, but will be responsible for EMEA-wide employment law support.

**Lead Counsel, Labor & Employment, EMEA Responsibilities**:

- Providing strategic advice and counsel to our ER and HR teams across the region on a broad range of employee related issues including performance and disciplinary matters, reorganisations, litigation, internal investigations, accommodations, future of work programs, compensation and benefits, corporate transactions, and employment policies and procedures
- Drafting and revising employment related agreements and policies including offer letters, severance agreements, confidentiality agreements, employee handbooks, and other employment related documents
- Partnering with internal teams to build processes and playbooks for recurring employee-related matters. Working on other region wide projects and initiatives
- Support employment litigation as necessary

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in labor and employment
- Qualified lawyer in at least one EMEA jurisdiction with excellent academic credentials (Bachelor of Law or equivalent degree)
- Experience with labor and employment law in EMEA including performance management, compliance and disciplinary procedures. Willingness to learn employment laws in new jurisdictions
- Experience with coordinating and driving to completion large-scale projects

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- In-house experience preferred but not necessarily required
