**Role**

**Main responsibilities**:

- Be an essential part of LCB’s current publishing project and manage all aspects of the project.
- Work closely with, and be the key contact between essential stakeholders and LCB
- Re-write and edit recipes to the agreed editorial style and ensure all content is accurate and finalised
- Write engaging and informative introductory copy in line with tone of voice
- Final proofreads
- Check ingredient conversions
- Take the lead in planning and organising photoshoots. Attending shoots and assisting in general shoot admin, e.g., sourcing props and equipment

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience managing or editing culinary books
- Able to edit recipes and copy to a high standard
- Excellent general editing and proofreading skills, with a scrupulous eye for detail
- Strong English skills, degree in journalism, English or communications preferable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure, juggle many moving parts and meet tight deadlines

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 12-15 months

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
