CMS are actively recruiting for Paramedic's to join our ever-growing company to support our event work across the United Kingdom.

As a Event Paramedic's, the role requires you to provide first aid treatment to patients whilst on NHS Support, Ambulance transfers/support and/or at both large and small events.

The role of a Event Paramedic's is to provide immediate, lifesaving, medical care before the arrival of further medical help. This could include performing procedures such as:

- Placing an unconscious casualty into the recovery position
- Performing Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- Using an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Stopping bleeding using pressure and elevation
- Keeping a fractured limb still

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Represent Central Medical Services in a professional manner at all events/locations
- Undertake continuous training and development applicable to your role
- Manage the incident and ensure the continuing safety of yourself, bystanders and the casualty
- Assess casualties and find out the nature & cause of their injuries
- Arrange for further medical help or other emergency services to attend (e.g. the fire service)
- If trained, prioritise casualties based upon medical need
- Provide appropriate first aid treatment as trained
- If able, make notes/observations of casualties
- Fill out any paperwork as required
- Provide a handover when further medical help arrives
- Have due regard to patient confidentiality at all times
- Ensure that all equipment used is fit for purpose, cleaned and stored correctly.

**To be shortlisted for this position, one of the following qualifications are essential: -**
- Recognised Paramedic Qualification
- Professional Registration HCPC
- Recognised blue light qualification I.e. IHCD / Level 3 Emergency Response Ambulance Driving (Desirable but not essential)

- HCPC Registration (required)
