Hough Green Garage is a successful family owned Recovery Company. Having grown from a small town garage, we are now one of the biggest organisations within the industry with 13 operational depots across the North West, Central and Wales.

As a Depot Manager, you will be the driving force in delivering the objectives for a busy depot.

You will be able to use your initiative and excellent organisational skills to prioritise daily tasks to ensure the smooth and effective running of your depot and team of drivers.

This is a very demanding role with high expectations

**The Role**
- Manage the depot to ensure staff are trained, perform to company procedures.
- Comply with legislation requirements and deliver first-class service.
- Proactively identify opportunities to reduce costs, increase sales and marketing opportunities to improve revenue.
- Be responsible for the successful and efficient day to day operation of the depot
- Manage resource to consistently meet and exceed your set plans and targets
- Ownership of site and staff to ensure compliance with company procedures and legislation
- Create and adopt a Health & Safety culture
- Comply with all aspects of PAS43
- Ensure that all equipment checks are completed correctly and in a timely manner
- Participate in staff recruitment, inductions and training
- Identify and deliver new business opportunities by researching and building relationships with new clients
- Manage and grow sales with existing accounts
- Ensure processes are completed within the depot
- Communicate effectively
- Ensure all documentation and personal information is processed in accordance with the companies GDPR policy
- Induct and train all new team members to competency
- Full accountability for staffing levels
- Commercially aware of the costs incurred by decision making
- Can cope when working under pressure
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various stakeholders
- Great attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and people skills
- Flexible in work approach and hours in line with business demand
- Must be able to pass CRB vetting as this is essential for the role

**Essential**
- Class 2/1 Driving licence
- Previous experience within the Recovery Industry

**Salary**: £36,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
