This is a part time role. The starting salary of £25,000.00 per year is pro rata based on full time hours. Part time hours to be discussed at interview.

The successful applicant will provide full administrative support to the home and management team, ensuring discretion and confidentiality is always maintained, in line with Company policies and procedures and all governing bodies. To manage administrative duties in such a way as to provide the best possible record keeping and correspondence within the home to all departments as well as accounts department and external working partnerships. Employees are expected to adopt the policies and philosophy of Cannon Care Homes Limited. Ensuring the provision of a continuous service to the elderly in a homely, safe and therapeutic environment, working together to fulfil their physical, psychological, emotional, social and religious needs.
- To cover such comparable duties as may be required by your line manager and the Registered Manager.
- Manage and schedule own workload to meet with deadlines and timescales whilst identifying and managing any risks to quality of service provided.
- To provide full secretarial and administrative support to the director, Registered Manager as well as senior staff across all departments.
- Data inputting, using databases and spreadsheets accordingly and analysis of content.
- Attending minutes as required and some minute taking.
- Managing all aspects required with regards to staff personnel files and updating relevant information.
- Managing aspects of resident admin files and updating information, in line with GDPR regulations.
- Processing and preparing admission paperwork, contracts, and invoicing.
- To be sensitive to personal and confidential company and individual information, which must be undertaken with the maximum discretion and diplomacy.
- To maintain on going professional development and maintain up to date training records as per company requirements.
- Capability to work within a team as well independently and ability to use initiative and assess priority of workload.
- To respect and value the Home as the resident’s home and assist the resident in creating a homely, healthy and safe environment that meets their personal preferences.
- To always ensure safe working practice and support the implementation of best practice policies.
- To report faulty equipment and premises as necessary to the Maintenance team and record in the maintenance book.
- To work in a way which promotes a supportive environment which meets the physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of the residents in line with the Company’s policy.
- To monitor and audit the stock and resources of office supplies and liaise with the management with regards to new or additional supply requirements.
- Be courteous and helpful with resident’s, families, colleagues and all visitors to the Home.
- Ensure operation of equipment is within guidelines, to ensure efficient operation and prevent Health and safety risks.
- Efficient use of any supplies within the department.
- To produce, monthly activities plans and Home newsletters, working with the activities team.
- To undertake short term pieces of project work, at the requirements of the management and/or director, prioritizing with your current existing workload, understanding the importance of accuracy.
- To co-manage financial accounts, including floats and staff payroll.
