**Teaching Personnel have the role for you**

One of our partnership schools are looking for teaching assistants to join their school and support students with Autism and Social and emotional needs (SEMH). We are seeking creative individuals with the passion to support pupil well-being through dance,creative arts and music. We are looking for proactive support staff who can work with children 1:1 and support with daily activities. The school is based in Notting Hill and has great transport links nearby.

**The ideal Teaching assistant will have**:

- Experience working with children with complex and severe needs
- Team Teach or moving and handling qualifications
- A bubbly and friendly personality
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to situations

**In this role as a Teaching assistant, you will:**
- Support in the delivery of creative and engaging lessons and activities
- Work to support the class teacher in updating EHCP plans
- Build relationships with students and staff
- Work closely with the SENCO to review EHCP plans of all students.
- Ensure good safeguarding practices are taking place
- Support the needs of students with complex special educational needs.
- Be resourceful in the classroom to create a welcoming and nurturing class environment

**Application requirements for Teaching Personnel**
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
- You must have legal right to work in the UK
- You must be willing to attend a registration interview.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
