About the role

As a Distillery Operator you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of our distillery. You’ll work safely within the operational team, ensuring that you are delivering collective performance. Develop operational, improvement, and maintenance skills to support operations. Be accountable for delivery of effective communications to team members that works across shifts.

Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other Key Performance Indicators and targets including quality, efficiency, energy management, planning and cost efficiency.

You will oversee and support site production and process activities. You’re going to be responsible for both manual and automated production recording and management reporting systems. We want to see how you will optimise our production processes to maximise our performance.

Day Operator roles will cover a 5-day rota across day shift, providing on-site support to the distillery, however shift cover may be required during certain periods.

About you

You will have positive can do demeanour, and the ability to make decisions fast, while dealing with high pressure situations as well as highly effective Interpersonal communication skills to allow you to carry out your role.

You’ll make this role your own, challenging current approaches and seeking new opportunities. Both roles present a great opportunity to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and showcase your excellent communication skills.

You should be able to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external parties.
