**About the role**:
This is an exciting time to join a committed Board of Trustees whose ambition is to lead the organisation through the next phase of its journey.

We are looking for someone who will bring commitment, passion and an ability to think and act strategically. You will be committed to the local community and have a desire to help provide the best for people. As Treasurer you will be responsible for ensuring St Barnabas Hospices meets it financial and governance obligations, working with our Financial Director to ensure adequate financial controls are in place and all financial dealings are accounted for.

**About us**:
St Barnabas Hospices includes two hospices - and adult’s hospice: St Barnabas House and a children’s hospice: Chestnut Tree House. All members of The Board work across both hospices.

**About Chestnut Tree House**: We’re a children’s hospice for East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire, providing specialist palliative care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions.

**About St Barnabas House**: we provide specialist palliative care to adults in the Worthing, Adur, Arun and Henfield areas through a range of services, including in-patient care and community living well services.
