**Customs Insights**, part of the **Uniserve Group,** is seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Senior Shift Clerk** to join our dynamic team.

**About the Role**:
This is a key role within our 24/7 operation, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of customs clearance processes. You'll lead a shift team in the supervisor's absence, overseeing all tasks to guarantee compliance and accuracy.

**Shift pattern 4 on 4 off. Hours - days 1 & 2 0700hr to 1900hr, days 2 & 3 1900hr to 0700hr**

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Supervising a shift team and ensuring assigned tasks are completed efficiently and compliantly
- Completing daily customs clearance tasks yourself
- Assisting colleagues with customs paperwork
- Amending and corresponding with customs authorities
- Completing excise declarations
- Contributing to various operational duties as directed by management

**You'll be Successful if You Have**:

- In-depth knowledge of customs procedures and principles
- Proficiency in customs clearance software
- Strong Excel spreadsheet skills
- IT literacy
- A proven ability to meet tight deadlines
- A meticulous and detail-oriented approach
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
- The ability to identify and effectively report issues
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues

**This is a full-time position requiring shift work to support our 24/7 operations. Compulsory overtime may be required.**
