**The Opportunity**:
This exciting post will give one of our students the opportunity to engage their passion for mathematics by contributing directly to the design and implementation of new resources to be used in workshops in local schools. The post holder will also work closely with the Mathematics Outreach and Widening Participation Manager to develop a robust organisational system encompassing all our outreach activities.

This opportunity represents the chance to develop strong communication, organisation and management skills by liaising with external stakeholders in a professional environment.

This internship is part of the Employ.ed on Campus programme which is run by the Careers Service in collaboration with University departments and Schools. It offers exclusive summer internships at the University over the summer for 2nd year to penultimate-year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh based in the UK. You cannot take part if you are a visiting student, or you have already taken part in the programme before.

Expected commencement date**:Monday 3 June 2024 (8 week internship)**

This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are open to flexible working patterns and hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis);, however, the post-holder is expected to be resident in Edinburgh throughout the duration of the internship.

**Programme information**

Employ.ed on Campus is run by the Careers Service in collaboration with University departments and Schools.
