QC Proofreader Operator - Packaging Artwork

Bradford (and home based)

Salary up to £28K DOE

- Cross check the content of artwork proofs versus pack copy supplied using agreed proof reading techniques and approved QC software
- Ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to
- Ensure that artworks are produced with a consistent layout
- Check that artworks are built in line with printers technical requirements
- Annotate pdfs with all required changes making sure instructions are clear and easy to follow
- Record data for statistical reporting where relevant
- Highlight recurring errors - Note any patterns or recurring errors and work with the team to eliminate these
- Ensure work is completed in line with the schedule to meet clients SLA’s
- Help to promote a quality culture and performance improvement across the business
- **Experience**_
- 2 years working within packaging design/artwork or associated areas
- Have experience of Quality Control or proofreading
- Knowledge of print or reprographics is preferred
- Experience of using proof markup software
- Experience of working within a team
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Organised with the ability to multitask
- Able to use Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Illustrator
- Able to build strong working relationships
- Excellent attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £15,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
