Gallagher Re are seeking to recruit a dynamic and proactive individual to join our Analytics Team in a Senior Claims Advocate role based in London. You will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality Claims Service to all clients, ensuring that Key Client outcomes are delivered to service standards.

**Your Role**:

- Provide expert and highly specialised advocacy service prior and post claims notification
- Be a focal point and support to the client and claims advocacy unit for contentious, complex, disputed, sophisticated claims or high profile losses
- Analyse coverage issues in order to advise clients and colleagues
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, market and internal stakeholders
- Integral in connecting client and markets, demonstrating relationships and using rapport to minimize and reduce friction between clients and markets
- Be the key contact point for clients and colleagues for the area of expertise
- Handle special and highly complex assignments/projects requiring specialized and technical claims knowledge
- Ability to interpret ambiguous wording in contracts
- Highlight and feedback claims trends, development and their potential impact
- Provision of risk management advice to clients and the network, including review of client’s own documentation and policies where appropriate
- Technical and specialist support for pre-renewal meetings, placing and renewal negotiations
- Monitor underwriter / reinsurer and service provider performance and take appropriate action as required to guarantee the client’s best interests, through quarterly meetings
- Provision of technical training to Gallagher Re Claims associates and clients, in particular in relation to coverage issues, claims trends, market developments and risk management strategies
- Hosting external visitors and in turn coordination of markets hosting our colleagues, including secondments to markets
- Fulfil and fully engage in business development needs on MI, Electronic claims solutions, RFP’s and all future projects designated by the Global Head of Claims.
- Act as a role model for Gallagher Re associates, including the training and development, transfer of knowledge to less expert colleagues

**Your Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in the Reinsurance sector
- A high standard of commercial competence and negotiation skills
- Hard-working with strong relationship building skills
- Presentation skills - confident and proficient delivery of key messages
- Must have a good analytical approach, evidenced by previous fact based decision making and excellent problem solving skills
- Confirmed interpersonal skills, capable of dealing with domestic and international clients, business stakeholders and external bodies
- Well-developed influencing skills and the ability to achieve success through others
- Driven and well coordinated
- Eligible to work in the UK.
