Job Profile for Transport Co-Ordinator

Bennett and Game are currently working with one of the UK's leading companies within specialist General and Heavy Haulage services.

The client have been established since 1976 and operate a modern mixed fleet of over 35 vehicles and provide services that accommodate business needs for, general, heavy and abnormal load road haulage. The client pride themselves in being able to offer excellent levels of service to some of the largest blue chip construction engineering, plant hire, manufacturing and demolition companies across the UK.

Transport Co-Ordinator Position Overview
- Routing for drivers
- Planning for general, heavy and abnormal loads
- Briefing and debriefing drivers
- General administration
- Liaising with drivers
- Ensuring infringements are passed on to senior management
- Driver tracking
- Monitoring abnormal load movement

Transport Co-Ordinator Position Requirements
- Previous experience working in a transport office environment
- Previous experience dealing with General Haulage (Essential)
- Good understanding of Abnormal Load Movement
- Experience as a Roadrunner (Desirable)

Transport Co-Ordinator Position Remuneration
- Salary - £25K - £33K
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am - 6pm
- 1 Saturday in every 3
- Company Pension
