**Brand Marketing Specialist - General Merchandise and George Home**

**Overview**:

**Job Profile**

As the Brand Marketing Specialist, you will support the Brand Marketing Manager in managing the customer activity plan for General Merchandise and George Home, working cross functionally with the Asda customer team, George brand team, commercial, media partners and retail teams
- Supporting the development of the brand marketing plan ensuring the delivery of both commercial and customer priorities
- Critical path management, ensuring all strategic planning meetings and deadlines are diarised and met so that activity is delivered on time
- Maintaining key planning documents including the brand planner, proposition briefs and product nominations
- Attending product reviews and ensuring all campaign requirements are captured and cascaded to the relevant channel owners
- Championing the customer journey ensuring that campaigns are executed in a simple way and aligned to the customer mindset
- Overseeing all media sign offs with commercial and legal teams
- Working with the Brand Assistant to oversee the co-ordination of samples for shoots, influencers and PR shows
- Through the Instore Brand Assistants, manage the briefing and allocations for instore Point of Sale
- Oversee budget management and raising and receipting of purchase orders

**About You**
- Previous retail marketing experience
- A passion for marketing and campaign planning
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Great interpersonal and team working skills with the ability to work well cross functionally and communicate confidently at all levels
- Able to work on your own initiative
- Computer literature and confident using PowerPoint and Excel
