**Role of Sales and Bonded Warehouse Assistant**:
To be passionate about sales and customer service to drive future business. To work in the telesales operation, to provide a high quality and effective telephone sales call schedule to customers under area of responsibility. To help grow the business by providing promotional information to all customers and selling promotional lines. Work towards achieving sales targets and promote the NAAFI brand. To always demonstrate integrity and respect and in all aspects of daily duties.
**Responsibilities of Sales and Bonded Warehouse Assistant**:
- Responsible for driving and creating sales through positive and proactive engagement with the customer to maximise sales potential.
- Responsible for monitoring, managing, and promoting sales through regular customer contact with agreed wholesale customers and adapting the schedule in line with customer needs.
- Responsible for researching new sales opportunities, building the relationship with potential buyers, creating new sales and follow through from order to delivery.
- Responsible for maintaining all records of customer activities, including trend analysis of what products/promotions have been both successful and unsuccessful.
- Responsible for using customer data to drive sales and improve customer participation by accurately targeting the right products and promotions to the right customer.
- Proactively working to meet sales budgets and KPI’s through developing market understanding, building relationships and networking.
- Responsible for liaising with the finance team to set up and maintain credit accounts.
- React proactively to any issues or problems that arise that may affect the customer.
- Responsible for dealing with feedback and requests in a timely manner.
- Proactively working in collaboration with the Operations and Commercial team to maximise sales opportunities.
- Support the management of the operations of the NAAFI Building in HMNB Faslane dealing with customer orders and deliveries with the Royal Navy Coordinator
- Responsible for processing HMRC documentation and ensure compliance with the regulations for Bonded Goods.
- Undertake any other duties required to support operational and wider business activity as required from time to time.
**Requirements of the role of Sales and Bonded Warehouse Assistant**:
- At least 1 year of demonstratable sales experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Product knowledge (desirable)
- Full Valid UK Driving Licence
- Fork lift licence (desirable)
