**The Opportunity**:
Are you ready to take charge of financial strategy in a rapidly evolving organization? We're seeking a dynamic Finance Director to spearhead all financial operations across DOAC within our fast-growing and disruptive media group. In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the senior leadership team across the wider group to steer our financial planning, strategy, and reporting initiatives. Reporting to the CEO you will initially be in a standalone role with the opportunity to shape and grow a team around you. **Requirements**:
**Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To**:

- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with our overall business objectives and growth plans.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors to support decision-making and drive business performance.
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all financial matters.
- Manage and optimize cash flow, working capital, and financing strategies to support the company's growth objectives.
- Work closely with the wider finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and implement financial systems, processes, and controls to support efficient and scalable operations.Oversee internal financial operations, systems and processes to ensure a resilient, risk managed, and regulatory compliant finance function
- Run a robust FP&A cycle, aligning internal stakeholders and assisting in the guidance of strategic financial planning, annual budgets, forecasting and business unit performance appraisal
- Prepare timely and detailed management reports (income statement, balance sheet, statement of cashflow) on a monthly, annual and ad-hoc basis to inform cost control, variance analysis and contribute towards company’s business objectives
- Form a close working relationship with senior management team and communicate financial matters in a detailed, and well understood manner

**You Will Have The Following Strengths**:

- ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in a similar leadership role in a fast-growing organization or scale-up environment.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement financial systems and controls.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving business performance and achieving financial targets.
- Exceptional communication skills at all levels
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and make critical decisions
- Proficient in the use of industry standard software packages and tools (MS Excel, Google Sheets, Xero)
