Bailing Operative Nights

About the Role

At our Ely site we are looking to recruit a Bailing Operative (Factory) responsible for the removal and sorting of debris from all areas.

You will liaise with the onsite supervisors when there is a high level of debris found and you will organise the factory and surrounding areas as per standards following all the relevant Health and Safety practices.

Health and Safety is a very important aspect within our business, and you will be accountable for your own and others health and safety whilst at work, operating within the DS Smith safe systems of work guidelines.

About you
- Previous experience in a similar position is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
- With good communication skills you should be able to work under pressure.
- self-motivated and working on their own initiative
- A Forklift Truck License would be desirable
- Working knowledge of good health and safety practices
