We are delighted to be working in partnership with a long-standing client located in Edinburgh City Centre who are looking to recruit an Finance / Accounts Assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a dedicated Accounting or Cashiering professional looking for their next new opportunity within a firm which truly values their staff. Working as part of a small team you will provide an efficient and effective finance service within a dedicated finance/cashroom team.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Responsibility for reviewing and processing all client fund transactions
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and compliance
- Operate the company purchase ledger
- Manage the company billings and credit control
- Work closely with the Cashroom Supervisor and wider business
- Attend a variety of meetings when required
- Collate tax payment information from clients
- Assist the Property team with the preparation of cash statements
- Ensure all enquiries are responded to and allocated
**To be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following experience /background**:
- **Previous experience working within a dedicated Finance Department**:
- Strong focus on customer service with the willingness to take on responsibility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to interact effectively with others and people of all levels across the business
- Naturally positive and proactive
- Highly organised with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements
- Strong work ethic with high standards at all times
- Ability to work under pressure and juggle a variety of tasks
- Strong IT Skills and ability to use different systems including MS Office, Intranet
- Ability to work independently
