**As Business Analyst, a typical week might include**:

- Working with colleagues to identify, define and assess changes to homes team systems and processes which would improve service outcomes
- Identifying and proposing opportunities for improvement: challenging the status quo and breaking down barriers to change whilst maintaining essential control mechanisms
- Mapping as-is and to-be work processes and method, collecting necessary supporting information (e.g. volumetric information and time-and-motion data) in order to determine the optimum way of working, resource requirements and necessary change
- Assembling requirements from the business and ICT to build the specification documents and acceptance criteria for new systems. Running workshops or group events and work with individuals as required
- Forming new projects from a simple brief, working with all interested parties to identify requirements, potential solutions, resources, project structures and compliant with best practice (including PRINCE2)
- Assisting with contractor mobilisation projects with an outcome of ensuring full two way interface interaction
- Supporting the entire project / change lifecycle from initiation through to design specification, planning, implementation, sign off and handover of projects outputs and ongoing responsibilities
- Working in partnership with all resources to achieve project / change completion to identified goals. This will include staff from within ICT and other departments and may include other third parties or partnerships

Your core role and focus is all about ensuring that our team have the systems and processes needed to manage homes, customer safety, service delivery and internal/external stakeholder performance effectively.

**The must haves**
- ITIL Foundation, PRINCE2 Foundation or better
- Knowledge and experience of analysis, business process identification, mapping tools and methodologies, improvement, identifying and implementing metrics and measures
- Ability to analyse situations and assess information logically and objectively, evaluate and then suggest clear, logical and practical solutions
- Ability to transfer identified and gathered information to documented evidence
- Appreciation and understanding of ICT technical issues and the benefits that systems can provide to the business
- Skills to influence the business in support of change and leading improvement exercises and other design processes
- Working knowledge of implementing new systems and the requirement to introduce new ways of working
- Experience of working with a number of concurrent projects with tight deadlines
- Managing operations delivering business change with a significant ICT content using best practice methodology (e.g. ITIL)
- Numeracy and literacy skills essential. IT literacy, as well as the ability to use company operational software.

**Location**

At Accent we’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage the use of working from home as our new way forward. We’ll provide you with the equipment and software that you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility tohave an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.

Should you wish to work occasionally from any of our regional offices, you may do so on a hot desk basis which will need to be arranged via our online booking system.

**Salary**

The spot salary for this post is £42,591 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
