**Job Title**:Mill Supervisor

**Work Location**:SWLF, Blaguegate Lane, Skelmersdale, WN8 8TZ

**Hours of Work**:40 hours per week, 8am to 5pm, inclusive of a 1 hour unpaid lunch break, working 5 days over 7. The hours may be altered in order to meet the needs of the business. Some overtime may be required.

**Job Type**: Full time, Permanent

**Driving Licence Required**:Preferred

**Forklift Licence**:Preferred

**About the role**

We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated leader to join our team as Mill Supervisor at South West Lancashire Farmers (SWLF).

In this role you will be responsible for the safe and clean production of animal feed, including carrying out specific operations within the production process such as: intake, plant cleaning and basic maintenance.

Preferably applicants would have previous experience within a mill environment. An interest or background in agriculture would be advantageous.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain maximum output and production flow.
- Adherence to safe working practices and Health and Safety instructions.
- Responsible for housekeeping to the highest standards.
- Responsible for completion of all necessary paperwork.
- Keep production sheets and figures and send a report each month to relevant parties.
- Lead and oversee your team throughout their employee lifecycle to ensure the team runs effectively.
- Ensure all training is relevant and up to date for the department.
