We are currently seeking a Fire Officer for multiple supported accommodation sites in Nottingham. The role requires an individual with experience in fire safety and prevention, as well as a valid driving license.

As a Fire Officer, your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting regular fire risk assessments and implementing necessary measures to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations
- Developing and delivering fire safety training and awareness programs for staff and residents
- Maintaining accurate records of fire safety equipment, drills, and incidents
- Liaising with external agencies, such as the fire brigade and local authorities, as necessary
- Conducting regular inspections of the accommodation sites to identify potential fire hazards and taking appropriate action to mitigate any risks
- Responding to fire incidents and coordinating emergency procedures, including evacuations, liaising with emergency services and providing support to residents and staff as required.
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and best practices.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver training and communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify and address potential fire safety risks before they become a hazard.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
